From the south, enter Sudbury on the A131 from Braintree and Halstead. On descending hill into Sudbury turn left at first traffic lights, and then take first right into Brundon Lane. The road narrows before reaching ground on the right hand side.
Liverpool Street or Stratford to Marks Tey and then the branch line from Marks Tey to Sudbury. The ground is 1½ miles from the station. If you are going to walk it, head up Station Road and turn left at the end into Friars Street. Follow this to the end, by which time it will be Church Street, and turn left. You will be heading for Halstead and the road will take you over the River Stour. Turn right into Bulmer Road (this is at a set of traffic lights) and then right into Brundon Lane. The ground is on the right.

Although Sudbury is in what Greene King likes to think of as its patch, it is home to one of the best breweries in the east of England: Mauldon's. Look out for Moletrap bitter and Blackadder (stout). Nethergate Brewery, home of Old Growler, is not far away either.
