Why Enfield Town Football Club?
Enfield Town Football Club was formed in June 2001 by the Enfield Supporters Trust, following the controversial sale of the old Southbury Road ground.
Since that conception just a few seasons ago, the Club has made great progress both on and off the pitch, performing with distinction, winning numerous honours, and working hard to bring the Goldsdown Road, Brimsdown ground up to the standards needed for promotion.
Under the guidance of ex-Enfield manager Jim Chandler, Enfield Town has now won the Essex Senior League and Essex Senior League cup twice, finished runners up in the Middlesex Senior Cup, and last season narrowly missed winning promotion, for the second consecutive year, finishing third in the Southern League Division One East.
The long-term aim of Enfield Town FC is to establish their own home within the Enfield borough.The Club has already forged strong links with the local community, running coaching camps for juniors and setting up a flourishing 'Football in the Community' section. These links were further strengthened when the successful Enfield Ladies FC voted to form an alliance and became Enfield Town Ladies. In addition, Enfield Town Youth FC were set up in the 2003/04 season, and this season Enfield Town FC will field a reserve side for the first time in the Eastern Division of the Capital League.
The Club is rapidly moving forward, and there is much optimism about the future. This season, 'The Town' will be playing in the Ryman Isthmian League Division One North. With the support of local businesses, the progress and success achieved to date can be maintained, and local pride restored.

Perimeter Advertising Boards

In addition, advertising boards often feature as a backdrop to action photographs appearing in the media, both locally and nationally, plus our own matchday programme.
